WHAT ARE YOUR PACKAGES AND RATES? Please request a investment guide for wedding package details and hours of coverage.  Local coverage (within a 2 hour drive of Nashville, Tennessee) starts at$3,000 and includes 8 hours of coverage. Wedding packages that involve additional travel (in the continental U.S.) start at $4000 and include 8 hours of coverage. International wedding packages pricing starts at $6,000. Based on my years of wedding photography experience my go to numbers are 8-10 hours. Venue changes will affect the amount of coverage you need. If you are getting ready, having the ceremony (1 hour) and a  (3- 4 hour) reception all at one location then 8 hours is plenty. If you are having a change of venue and want coverage there then 9-10 hours is the minimum.  This should get everything from the getting ready to the final exit shot.  But no matter the coverage I will work with you to create a timeline that will capture the most of your wedding day! And we can discuss the right amount of coverage for your wedding plans

HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT? For local weddings it $200 and for travel, destination and international the deposit is $500. This deposit goes towards your balance and is non refundable.

WHEN IS THE BALANCE DUE? The balance for local weddings is due 1 week before the wedding date. 50% of the balance for destination or weddings that require travel/accommodations is due 60 days before the wedding date. Final balance 1 week before the wedding day. You will receive an invoice via email with instructions. Payment plans are accepted as well as Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Paypal, Check or Cash.

DO YOU PROVIDE A WEDDING CONTRACT? Always. It must be signed by both the bride and groom. I'm happy to go over the contract with you so don't be scared to ask questions. You can request a copy before booking.

WHAT WILL WE DISCUSS IN A CONSULTATION AND WHAT ABOUT MY PLANNER?  During our first consultation we will discuss how you envision your day - the setting, the ceremony, the dress & wardrobe, the flowers and all of the little details. I want to know what's important to the bride and groom and allow that to play into my creativity in creating their images. While many moments on the wedding day occur spontaneously, there are some moments for images that need to be planned so we will work together with your planner to create a time line or shot list for the day. It is important to allow time for capturing each and every moment and I work with you & create a schedule for your portraits.

DO YOU WORK FROM A SHOT LIST? Always. I will work with my clients (and their wedding planner) to set up a timeline to capture all the important parts of their wedding day. We usually finalize this 2-3 weeks before the wedding. My assistant will help me stay on track during the wedding day so you don't have to worry about it.

DO YOU SHOOT FILM? No, I primarily only shoot in digital format. I've decided that this format has your best interest and investment in mind. Digital photography allows me to back up your photos on site and have your wedding safe on the cloud in less than 24 hours after the event. Also, digital photography reduces production cost and is much more efficient which means my clients spend less plus get their photos back faster.  

DO YOU WORK WITH AN ASSISTANT: Always. An experienced assistant is included with all of my wedding packages.

CAN I REQUEST CERTAIN IMAGES TO BE TAKEN AT MY WEDDING? Yes, but not all images can be guaranteed.

CAN I SHARE MY WEDDING PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?  Yes, but please give photo credit to www.laurenathalia.weddings or Lauren Athalia Weddings

DO YOU OFFER EXTRA ADD-ONS? Yes! You can add a second shooter, engagement session, bridal session, prints, and albums.

DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND SHOOTER? Yes, 50% of my weddings are shot with a second photographer. You should consider a second shooter if you have over three hundred or more guests, if your wedding takes place at multiple venues (hotel, ceremony, reception), if the bride and groom are getting ready offsite, and you’d like photographs of both, or simply if you’d like a second perspective! Please request second shooter pricing if you are interested.

DO YOU USE BACKUPS Always. I always bring backup gear. My assistant will start backing up your wedding to a hard drive during your reception and then your photos are backed up immediately after your wedding which are also copied to the cloud.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES AND HOW MANY DO WE GET? You’ll receive 1-2 teaser photos 1 week after your wedding. Your will be e-mailed a link to your digital downloads no later than 6-8 weeks after your wedding. I usually deliver from 800 to 1500 images (depending on your selected package), all edited and retouched.

CAN WE PRINT OUR PHOTOS OURSELVES? Yes! You receive the right to print your photos and for personal use only. You will receive a print release form to do so. This basically means you can’t profit from them without my permission. I also offer professional printing. Please email for print pricing.

DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS? Yes, I also work with the bride & groom to then create a custom-designed, heirloom album containing the memories of their day. Request to see samples. 

HOW MANY WEDDINGS HAVE YOU SHOT IN YOUR CAREER? 50 and counting! I began assisting and second shooting at weddings in 2005.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR PLANNING TIPS FOR GOOD PHOTOS ON MY WEDDING DAY?  Brides,get ready in a nice, clean venue.  Preferably with lots of window light. Many of your photos will be taken here, from getting ready, to photos with the mother of the bride, bridesmaids and bridal portraits. Also, a first look is a goo idea too especially if you or your groom is shy. You'll feel more relaxed in front of the camera later. After that, my ideal time line is a 30-minute ceremony two hours before sunset, followed by couple portraits in private, family pics, and lots of photos of cocktail hour as the sun sets. 

DO YOU BRING YOUR OWN LIGHTING? Yes if I think it's necessary for the venue. I prefer to shoot with natural light as much as possible.

IS YOUR WORK PUBLISHED ANYWHERE?  My wedding work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, Southern Bride Magazine, Trendy Bride Magazine,  Ashely's Bride Guide, Wedding Chicks, and Reverie Magazine.

WILL YOU USE MY IMAGES FOR ADVERTISING YOUR BUSINESS? Yes. My wedding contracts include a model release and allow me to use images of you and your wedding to advertise my business. However, I will contact you about anything outside of social media and my personal website publishing. I like my clients to be okay with where their photos being shared! So no surprises.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? I require 30 days notice. If for any reason the you need to cancel the signed wedding contract before the wedding date, I will keep the retainer and be reimbursed by the client for any travel expenses that I have paid. I will provide travel expense report and invoices/receipts if available. To see full details for cancellation and rescheduling request a copy of my wedding contract.

HOW DO I BOOK YOU TO SHOOT MY WEDDING?  If you’d like to officially hire me after we talk, I require a signed contract and your deposit to hold your date! That amount is applied towards your balance. So what are you waiting on? Let's do it!
